  • Hi & thank your feedback. Physiotherapists usually advise not to hold onto something to pull your body because pulling your body uses your upper abdominal muscles, potentially straining your internal wound. If momentum is used from the roll it is far easier after abdominal hysterectomy which makes moving even more difficult. Yes it can initially be difficult to lift and lower leg at the same time in which case we teach moving one leg at a time initially. Hoping this helps Best wishes Michelle

  • I'm sorry but I had surgery about 3 weeks ago and some of the exercise you could do but with me I needed to reach up and hold onto something, plus you cannot put both legs down at same time nor can you put both feet back in bed the same way. It was one at a time, sorry lady but it was not that easy.

  • Will you demonstrate how to move up in bed after surgery?

    thanks

  • thank you

  • Thank you, Michelle!!
