How do someone with Narcissistic Personality Disorder experience holidays? Most of them hate to see other people happy, specially when they are not the cause of that happiness.

  • This video answered a lot of questions for me. I've always been ignored out right on holidays....any holiday. Mother's day i was even told i didn't deserve a "happy mothers day". Christmas was nothing, birthdays, nothing, easter, nothing. It was just such odd behavior so thank you for this video.

  • Your videos are informative and interesting. They explain, without frills, how unromantic and futile a union with a Narcissist is. Certainly something to be avoided!

  • Isn't there at least a small amount of truth to the narcissist's dislike of others' happiness? After all if people were really attuned to the way the world and life is they couldn't truly be happy. Everyday happiness is in this sense false, only spiritual happiness is real, whereby one has managed to find an answer to the problem of existence.

  • how is an emo different from a narcissist??..lol

  • what is the difference between a narcissit and a person who's gone sour and trusts no one due to harsh life circumstance, or pain he has...for eg 'dr house' character..tv serial

  • @Dassy0607 Ditto

  • @itsanottame I know how you feel...living hell...

  • Not just during Holidays but all the time....I have been living with this for 15 years.

  • Wow ...Where the heck were you in '81 when I met my narcissis? I was married to him since 85 and 2006 I woke up. He is a misserable (I don't call him human) He tried to destroy everything beautiful and good. Even his own children. You are on the mark with your description.Thanks....I was young and had gone through a pretty bad events in my childhood that probally lended me to this situation. But I have a good grasp of who I am now. Good counciling and Psychitrist. Thanks again.

  • Thanks for this video. My dad did everything to ruin every holiday and this time, at the age of 83 he is dying right before Christmas to ruin this one as well for everybody, I really don't believe in coincidences.
