  • Oh my goodness. . . for those of us who have trudged through this étude, this performance just takes the breath away. Phenomenal!

I know Dotzauer #2 is very boring, but I was wondering if you wouldn't mind posting a video of it. I am trying to perfect my martelé stroke, and it's quite difficult to maintain a clear sound throughout, especially on the C-string. My bow hand technique leaves a lot to be desired, so it really helps to hear and see good cellists like you play these things.

  • Please can you play other etudes?! um studying dotzauer!!

  • Just showed this to my student. He was so excited to hear it the way it was meant to sound.

  • Omg! Daniel you are great.
