  • That area sure does take it right out of the story books doesn't it? To see time stand still like that is awesome! Your day trips are pretty slick. I give you allot of credit with 300ft. slopes and all. I might make it 300ft. total lol. good for you.

May your pans be laden with Gold:) HH.

  • all i want to do in my spare time now is explore the hill sides and small little towns and mine ect..

i wish to get more understanding of the area.. its fun to find new things and great views its all most like being a kid again.

  • great videos...that place looks good for exploration! those caves and mines...

  • in many ways i am envious of the ability to dig up thousands of year old coins i see those vids from there and cant believe my eyes. how cool can it be to do that. and yes the water was very cold , stuck my hands in many times to wash them off brrrrrrrr!

  • Lovely scenery! You are so lucky! I live in the fens and its as flat as a pancake for miles! The advantage is it is very rich in roman history in East Anglia. Most of it is protected by law but there is still lots thats undiscovered. Good luck with the dredge! And that water looks bloody cold!

  • im happy you got the chance to do that, some of my best memories are going down there as a child and panning +fishing too ...nice size trout mmmmmm!

  • thanks, there will be more soon!

  • thanks yulelah, when i get the chance i am going back to explore them. on e/bay i can get a 24 led light that should put enough light out to film, that will be a cool vid to see huh?

  • Great video! Beatiful scenery and i love seeing the mouth of those old mine.

  • Great video! Breathtaking scenery!

  • I was fortunate enough to gold pan on the American river back in 86'. To this day, it's one of the fondest memories I have. The layered black sand was everywhere. Awesome spot Scorpio! Good luck uncovering it's hidden treasures.

  • thanks a ton! cany wait to make more vids on this place and many others on the river

  • Great scenery and great video. Good Luck on the GOLD this year scorpio....
