Had the Renault 21 been widely marketed i the U.S., they could used this same commercial, only with an American accent voice-over at the end.
Maybe the best car commercial I've ever seen!
I'm sure it won several awards.

Hi there 'collector'. I seem to recall that the voice at the end isn't actually McGoohan, but a soundalike. Presumably PM must have OK'd the use of 'The Prisoner' imagery and music but still, I'm sure I remember that he sued Renault over the unauthorised imitation of his voice in this ad.

I find it sad that this Rover looks better than the one in the new AMC Prisoner miniseries... Oh, well, nice to hear Pat's voice at the end!
