Totally. I've learned to make songs for Ultrastar, and I noticed that you absolutely must add spaces between notes, otherwise you will not be able to change from one pitch to another, especially when difference is large, like C to G.

Welcome to the world of Karaoke and music and rhythm videogames! As if ANYONE could sing it as well as Morten.

I'm disappointed in Sony/London Studio; Take On Me was in the original SingStar on PS2 but they've never done another one of A-ha's songs in any of the recent games.

Bloody hell...How to murder a classic, just listen to this guy.

I would do it better ha!!.

now try that by singing an octave higher just as the original ;)

Yeah that phrase is impossible to FC. There's no way to span that double jump with no transition time. Sony needs some charters who aren't complete retards... :/

You're not the only one. XD Part of what makes SingStar so difficult is that you can't tell exactly how far off pitch you are.

I've only played Singstar Pop once, and I played on expert, and yeah, it IS hard. Like the charting is really weird. Idk.
You did great, btw.

Yeah the charting is often strange in SingStar. Long sustains, and solid notes where there should be chromatics. Also, there's almost no room for error on pitch change timing, so if you're off by even a microsecond you lose points.
Even worse, there's no forgiveness for consonants, so if you aren't humming, you're bound to lose a few points to pronouncing the actual lyrics.
I keep hoping Sony will wake up and make a vocal engine that makes sense, but I've been disappointed thus far.
