In this NASA video segment learn how oil spills affect our planet. Toxins in oil cling to animals and plants suffocating them. During and after large oil spills, the EPA and Coast Guard map the location. Weather and current data is used to predict the path of the oil. Color animation is used to help support this segment.
Great info here, but holy fucking poorly acted script!!

And let's not forget that although nature can help, how much pressure from human s--t can nature withstand!? they don't tell that... it takes years to recover, but added to other pollution (from other sources) it gets really heavy for nature to clean it all up! (nature doesn't work at business hours!!)...

...and how many oil spills are happening around!?? there's not an isolated event somewhere in the ocean per year, but thousends or millions of spills around every year... not necessarely detected & released by media!!

...and finally our over & over urbanised lands & mechanised transports are overtaking all those few natural (truthfully wild) areas that are left on the world day after day... so we don't allow nature to help us either, cause we have to keep looking after our nasty & irrationally selfish needs (:increasing our own population to unsustainable numbers! ...so more damn houses & cars around!). Let's stop buying cars and use more bycicles!!! we're all getting more and more lazy & fat!!!
