This is an absolutely excellent vehicle. The 2005-2010 Chevy Equinox and Pontiac Torrent had excellent styling, and then the new Equinox came around... and it's too round. This keeps the excellent styling of the previous gen, along with sleeker lines and improvements all around.
This was going to be the next Pontiac Torrent, but with Pontiac being brutally murdered by General Motors, they gave this to GMC.
GMC should take the Hummer vehicles under "GMC Hummer". No seperate brand names.

To answer someone's question about the price, I've seen both the Terrain and Equinox with a V6, Navigation, AWD, and sun roof average around $30,000 to $32,000.

@avand18 can you tell me how much it cost you and whether it is the 3L v6 or not .... if not what could be the best deal for 3L V6 AWD with navigation and if possible with sun roof ... for both 2011 and 2012. Thanks.

Very nice but my dad got a 2011 Chevy Equinox instead because it was about $1500 cheaper and basically the same vehicle on the inside and same size on the outside. I like both.

Just got a 2012 Carbon Black the other day. This year, the nav-sized touch screen stereo comes standard even in the base model (no more red console screen), as does the backup cam which now shows up on this screen, and bluetooth. Basically this has tons of premium type features that don't even come on premium base models of other AWD 5-doors such as the Subaru Impreza. If you want your color and features, you have to get one as soon as it shows up in inventory, otherwise you will be outta luck.
