Alien Artefact #1

An alien artefact discovered in a small crater in Antarctica.
It's rumoured that scientists believe it was created using 3D IFS software similar to the 3D IFS formulas available for Ultrafractal.

Edit (24/11/2011): Before anyone else starts moaning and swearing about this being a "fake" it is *not* a fake, it is a "joke". To those complaining about wasting their time - well if looking for genuine alien artefact/artifact videos isn't already a waste of time..... Please note the original upload date - this was the first time a formula was available for Ultra Fractal that allowed 3D IFS fractals to be created using that software, I simply used the title in order to make as many folks aware of this as quickly as possible - again "it's a joke" - get over it !!!
Since 3D fractals are now more "run of the mill", the importance of making folks aware of them has decreased, but without actually deleting the video YouTube will not let it be renamed otherwise I would do so just to stop all the mud-slinging.

@MrLeggette Duh ! It's not "fake" since it wasn't intended to fool anyone - I really didn't think anyone would be daft enough to think otherwise.

Also "artefact" and "artifact" are both accepted spellings of the word in *real* English - just check it in the Oxford English Dictionary if you don't believe me.

@aironeous In this case it's a perspective view of the whole rather than a slice as the fractal concerned is only 3D not 4D.

In my experience that's generally stupid intolerant uneducated US folk who apparently seriously expect to find real evidence of aliens by searching on YouTube - as if some such evidence existed it wouldn't already be on the front page of every newspaper and probably the only feature on the YT homepage.
