This video was taken in Indianpolis Indiana, at a Gaither Homecoming Event. David Phelps torches this song! His voice is so powerful and he really is not showing to many signs of slowing down! Wes Hampton also nails his part very well on this song.

The Vocal Band here was Bill Gaither, Mark Lowry, David Phelps, Wes Hampton and Marshall Hall (who was filling for Michael English)

  • Awesome!!!! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Thank you for posting this!!! I was at this concert, but missed this because I was working David's table. I was able to hear it, but it's not the same as seeing it too.

  • @gretchpom Your welcome and thanks for watching! I have several more videos to post from that night.. It is just a matter of getting around to them... I will be gone away from internet all this week so it might be a week or two... But I just could not wait any longer to share this awesome video!

  • BEST VERSION OF THE SONG :D

  • Going to go see them on November 19th can't wait ;) this song reminds me of once I join the military.

  • I see no competition here...they all bring their own thing to the table. Why must we read between the lines and try & spot dis-unity? If you watch Wes's behind the scenes videos you will clearly see that these guys get along and love each other and have loads of fun...

  • I prefer to think both these dear hearts were just singing from the bottom of their heart. They are both great, both are talented, but slightly different. I prefer Wes's presentation a bit more than David's, but I love to listen to both of them. Add Michael English to the mix and it's dynamite. Love them all, even funny Mark,

  • This is the only time I have ever seen a visible competition between David and Wes on stage. It makes for a great version, but the "oneupmanship" is noticeable.

  • AMAZING!!!!!!!

  • I have to say this is the best and the most intense version of this song that I have ever heard.

  • Phelps espectacular!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • is wontherfull, fantastic, awesome, thank God , God bless Gaither vocal band

  • David canta muy bien, y su técnica es muy buena. Me gusto su interpretación, Wess como que quiere figurar pero no esta al level de Phelps, cada quién en su lugar. God Bless
