This movie is called "Mai Mai Shinko", yes it appears similar to Ghibli, dosn't it? I love to see this film! Surely this will make people very nostalgic! :D

This is a movie destined to be liked by most Miyazaki lovers. Director Katabuchi has worked on several of his movies (assistant director on "Kiki"), Madhouse often makes very eye-pleasing animation in the Studio Ghibli vein, and the story is set in the 50s (Totoro time!).

I found the English title(serach the below title @ YouTube!) and herewith the info from the wki, ; "Mai Mai Miracle", (Maimai Shinko to Sen-nen no Mahō?)　is a Japanese animated film based on the autobiographic novel, Maimai Shinko by Nobuko Takagi. It is produced by the animation studio Madhouse and directed by Sunao Katabuchi. The film will be released this November in Japan.　And it will be shown in Locarno International Film Festival in August 2009.
