  • I want to know... do you suffer from bdd or you just posted this video to help sufferers?

If you do suffer.... I recommend the book The Broken Mirror by Katharine Phillips.... heals!

And like Suicidejunkie said.... With BDD, knowledge is power.

  • Yes I suffer from bdd. I wanted to do a video about bdd because many people dosen`t know that it is a illness. Thanks for the tips!

  • hi im a friend of missyt2(just below) ive known her....

  • her for about 7 years now and when i first met her she was suffering quite bad from bdd, she had the book 'the broken mirror' and had been doing exercises in it, but this still wasnt enough to pull her through this obsession, eventually after years of searching she found a doctor that knew about it and was willing to help her, and a counciler. her friends have helped her over the years too and she has progressed and overcome a lot in those 7 yrs of knowing her. but the bdd is still there,

  • she still obsesses in the mirror, but no where near to the extent she used to, she still picks, but for her it is a thing that is incorporated in her life now, something she deals with among other problems in her life. without her 2 daughters, partner and her friends she wouldnt be with us today. she has been through a lot and i admire her strength, as do i with other bdd sufferers. you are all strong no matter what someone might say to you. keep trying, you can succeed and overcome this.
