Shel Silverstein's ROCK 'N' ROLL BAND - presented by Holmes

This was a short film project we were given in high school. The lyrics belong to Shel Silverstein and his poem "Rock'n'Roll Band." The music however I created myself. ^.^ Yay me.

It all started when the teacher hands us the project of adapting a scene from a book into a movie. The only book our group could find was a children's poetry book. A girl in the group (in the video, the "manager") liked the poem Rock'n'Roll Band, and so I looked it over and was in charge of storyboard. But as I read the poem with its rhythm and rhyme, I couldn't help but hearing a beat. Thus, the music was born. And it's a catchy tune too. I guarantee, you'll be singing it after you've watched the whole thing. We had almost finished on a Friday and came back that Monday, and the teacher said he'd been singing it the whole time. Coolage. However, you'll have to excuse the bad sound quality on the singing. Our microphone at school went kaplooey on us. Anywho,
