Abers 1st crew change over and returning 1st Rower's back to support boat Ocean Venturer. Note by using the stern quarter for recovery allowed the RIB to break away fast if needed and that, that part of the boat is the most stable and lowest in rough conditions. At no time did we attach the RIB to the support boat but powered the RIB in to the stern, ensuring contact at the critical moment of transfer. This method has proved the safest in all conditions. Plus we always have crew on board the yacht to assist and ensure safety,but nobody moves until the RIB driver says so. He has overall command of transfers.
