Thanks for the pointers, when this was made I was using morph targets, and what i didnt realise at the time is the more you have, the better the animation works. However I am once again dipping into control rigs for 3d so I might have a look at characters again,

In order to get better facial expressions, you need to model the face in loops, they're based on the actuall muscles in the human face and because of that you get a much more natural feel to it without ripping en clipping. Just adding my 2 cents, but ok job

Hi thanks for the comment.
I did model using the classic edgeloop method, (good reference is the joan or arc tutorial) However I made the mistake of making the moph targets using a soft selection with a sharp envelope, hence the pinching of the faces. Thanks for the input though :)

could you tell me quicky how did you rander that animatic :35. in 3d max I cant seem to find a setup where I can render in antimac. I would greatly appricate and subcribe

How do you mean specifically? how did I render out the camera panning round the head? or how did I save it out?
