Fly Fishing Brook Trout in the Fall is an opportunity I rarely pass up. The colors that Brook trout take on in the fall are truly remarkable. If you're lucky enough to catch a big one, the memory will last a lifetime. Here is a video diary of some nice brookies caught in and around the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
Enjoy!!
Great vid. and fish. Did the camera guy even fish or just take footage?

@styrobuzz Actually Jeff has not done a whole lot of fly fishing, but he loves the camera work and on this particular day, I was lucky enough to have him follow me around.

I use some bead eggs that I tie and various other patterns that make the fish mad. Most these fish are pre-spawn and are very aggressive.

Nice video. You have to love the colors of brookies in the fall.
It is interesting how some of the buck's look skinny, like they have been in the spawn process for quite a while. Most of the hens had really plump bodies.
Nice Video!

Yeah this is true. The bucks seem to get the groove on a bunch earlier int this area. Although this past year was a bit strange as we had a large winter storm hit and it kind of got them going earlier then usual. thanks for watching
