The plot of the piece is close enough to reality to be persuasive. Curiously, the voice of Julia has been synchronized for reasons unknown.I am not sure what the intended effect was. Still, the piece holds ones attention. One hopes this group of actors and filmmakers will continue their collaboration, as there is a definite progression in artistic refinement from their early efforts. They should get recognition for this current effort, clearly their best.

    LIL ORPHAN ANNY AGAIN

  • It is a challenge to make a movie within 48 hours, based on a catch phrase and a prescribed genre. This piece an entry into the National Film Challenge - succeeds. The camera work is sophisticated, the acting very accomplished. The two protagonists manage to conquer the electronic divide to each others benefit in the plot and in the making of the film.Julia (Julia Sachon)and Stuart (Carmine De Paulo) share only a few frames, yet they connect convincingly on a human, caring level.
