Unfortunately I am no longer able to continue my support for any comments on my videos after almost 2 years because it is now my Senior year in highschool and I have more work than I can handle as-is. I hope my tutorial will be enough to get you on the right track.

This is a tutorial on how to forward ports through a router and Windows Firewall. This is on Windows 7, and the router has DD-WRT firmware on it.

  • well i'm trying to make gta sa mp server but the portforward doesnt work for me my internet don't find that inlog page for 192168.0.1

  • @MrGlumzie Default is 192.168.1.1, but it could be .0.1 as well, just make sure you got it right. Otherwise I would suggest checking your anti-virus firewalls or Windows firewalls to make sure they're allowing it through.

  • Anyone have any idea to do port forwarding thru a win7 virtual wifi application such as connectify... This video shows how to open Win7 firewall ports so they can be used as well as how to forward ports thru the firewall, but how about redirecting(forwarding) from a win7 machine??? Any ideas please email me, be MUCH appreciated!!!

  • when i use the ipv4 in my browser it says it cant connect.

  • @member05c Yeah, but if you have a modem, you just need the windows firewall thing and your done.

  • Thanks for the great tutorial.

Portforward stated that it can not ping my router. But port is open on my PC. The external IP address was used instead of the router. Any suggestions?

  • Do I need to have a router?
