His term, "Needless Complexity", hits the nail on the head. Look at all the time we spend filling out forms and filing information related to the movement of money. It's really just the "game" of money, and so much of it has nothing to do with "natural law", and what people really need, and what is relevant to our lives.

Communism is also a relatively old idea. The current state/possibility of technology and mechanical automation were not factors for Karl Marx. Communism places emphasis on the working class, while a resource-based-economy recognizes the emergent fact that human labor is largely unnecessary nowadays. A common criticism of this idea is that people will lose incentive to be productive.

Sad, you started hating communism so badly, that you forgot what it was in the first place. Communism is in principle a much fairer idea than democracy, but neither of them really matter, because these are just versions of the second layer of governing systems. The first and underlying layer is the monetary system. And where communism failed was not it's ideals, but the fact that in the monetary system, people get become corrupt. Basically socialism and capitalism don't really matter.
