When Rascals Attack

Sure they start out cute but one day, THEY ATTACK!

I'm guessing this is from 1998 or 1999 so Rascal would have been 2 or 3 years old, judging from the grey on his face. That used to be his favourite way to play, fighting the cloth bag on my hand. Too funny!

Rascal had an incident on May 6th, 2010. He was diagnosed with Vestibular Disease which sounds bad but it's not. It's a problem with his inner ear that affects older dogs. He was stumbling and falling when he tried to walk. His eyes were twitching uncontrollably as well and he was unable to get up on his own.

As I post this on May 11th, he's doing much better. He still has a problem walking unassisted but his eyes don't twitch anymore and he looks a lot less lost and confused than he did on the 6th. He is expected to make a full recovery.

This was awesome!  I really liked the orchestra music, the guitar on the couch and the bag over Rascals head! :)
