  • Uhh how does the flight model compare to DCS: Ka-50? ArmA series had pretty crappy FM.

  • @rakgitarmen according to RL pilots the flight model is rather good. There are some faults but BI is working on it. It's not a hardcoresim like DCS though (e.g. simplyfied startup sequences).

  • What is the game like so far?

  • @NakedSteak I'm having a blast so far. Flying is challenging. There are still some issues with the flight model but I'm sure BIS will do all they can to improve it for release. Groundtextures are rather blurry and the traffic isn't finished yet but otherwise the graphics are really good and the helicopter models are top notch. Be aware that a powerfull quadcore CPU is necessary to achieve the drawdistance you see in my videos. The few missions are also really fun to fly.

    Cheers ;)

  • Everybody: We want Seattle (or other big city) in ArmA 2 ! This has to work there as well from my POV? C'mon BIS - how about a little present as an excuse for the delays of Patch 1.60?

  • This sim is to make an easy buck before the upcoming Arma 3. The same way Gran Turismo released prologue and dice with 1943. But I guess it's a win win situation.

  • Those building reflections are amazing. The vanishing traffic is a little distracting, though.

  • @MrSchalke04 Thanks, I am really looking forward this game. :-)
