  • thank you. simple enough but what i'm looking for and can't find is a video that shows how to read, lineup/measure just using a quilt ruler, for example how would you use grid lines on a ruler to make a 2 in. square? do you measure slightly larger than 2 in cut or cut exactly at 2 in. then sew to make the 2 in. square I guess what I'm trying to ask is how do you line up, measure, read and cut for any size square for a quilt just the basics exactly where do you starting measuring or lining up.
