Haylee Mazzella We Won't Forget You

Haylee Mazzella is a precious 4 year old little girl who drowned on 6/3/06 because of a negligent step-grandmother who left her unattended in a swimming pool. She had told Haylee's Mommy she'd watch her for just 10 short minutes so Haylee's little baby brother's diaper and wet clothes could be changed for the ride home.

you dont think she suffers every day knowing she was held responsible for that precious child's death. You should forgive or if you cant at least stop calling her a murderer. it was a tragic horrible accident but nobody wanted it to happen Haylee looks like she loved everyone im sure she wouldnt want you to be this angry god bless

you should get your facts straight before you make such a comment. this woman suffers NOTHING & takes no responsibility. Maybe YOU can take Haylee's life lightly, but WE NEVER WILL. Angry? You betcha. Harsh? Yes. Wanna know what's the most harsh? Haylee is laying in a grave, where her family goes to visit her every single day.

No, it's perfectly legitimate to be angry with the stepgrandmother. She was negligent, pure and simple. It's common sense that preschoolers need to be actively watched, especially in a pool. And for ten minutes? Especially when she volunteered to do it? I'm sorry, but that's negligence in the most basic sense of the word and her parents have every right to be angry with her. She may live with the guilt, but this family has to live without their daughter, which is the bigger loss.

My wife had a nephew that passed the same way back in 2009. His name was Ktenn and he was also 4. It was hard. We were at the hospital, there were wires everywhere, he passed that afternoon, the funeral was unbearable, I cried the whole time, he was a beautiful child, so sudden and so fast, I kissed him on the forehead like he was my own, no regrets. Since then, I've been a hawk on my on my two boys. I take no chances. My condolences to you and your family. I cry everytime i watch Haylee

Oh this beautiful sweet baby. I hope the step grandmother was charged for what she did. She should have been charged with murder....rotten person that she is!!!!
