@ElizabethIrish I am so sorry! I totally did not see your comment on here till someone left a question for you just a couple days ago. I find that getting comments from youtube is unreliable. Again I'm sorry! To answer your questions though it is a reproduction called a "margin Gem" For the most part have been happy with it but had a few issues. Paid about $4500. Ordered it online from Stoves and More. If you have any more questions please ask & I promise to check my inbox better!

@ElizabethIrish The wood stove looks like something from Lehmans, but like you I would like to find out the make and model. Did you ever find out what it was and how much they cost?

Thank you for posting this, we bought a home with a wood cookstove and I had to kind of guess how to clean it. Ive been doing exactly as you have done so I must have guessed right! Your home is so beautiful, looking forward to more videos:)

@Coaljet Thanks for visiting and taking time to leave a comment. Wood stoves are an incredible invention! We could not do without ours, it's our furnance, hot water heater, clothes dryer in enclement weather,how we cook. I've used its warmth as an incubator for warming newly born goat kids and freshly hatch chicks who decided they needed to come while it was still too cold out. She can do all these things at one time using the same amount of full as if for one task, now that's convenience!

Hi, Great to see your channel. We have an Amish built wood cook stove, that heats our 700' log cabin.
Curious, what video camera do you use? We also have kerosene lamps and of course this gives low lighting, so I'm impressed with your video. Thanks, Campfirepoetry

@campfirepoetry Thanks so much for watching and taking time to comment! We use a sony handycam and a cannon powershot. This video was done with the powershot. The lighting in this video wasn't too bad but some of our other ones are pretty dark but I think they were done in the evening near dusk or even dark.
