Klung Industry Co.,limited. www.klung-motor.com

We saw one of these(Dazon 1100) out at Glamis two weeks ago. They are using a 5 speed gearbox and the transmission ratio is like the old 800cc from Roketa. Third, Fourth and Fifth gear is basically useless. They need to change that or they will not sell too many of these sandrails. Their engine only has 52hp so it could not keep up with my 1100cc. My SR-2 Sand Sport 1100cc has the Chery engine so I have a 15.5hp advantage over the Dazon 1100. This engine has a DOHC and 16 valves and runs like a two stroke. My sandrail in my opinion is better built and lighter than Dazon. I am currently selling my 1100cc and getting the new 1100cc from www.minisandrail.net. I prefer the new look, the fully welded frame and all the improvements they have made. I am hoping they will have the new model for a new racing series that starts March 8th at Lake Elsinore MX park. Information is on www.dirtalliance.com website. I guess we will see all the major companies race head to head. I am looking forward to that race. I would like to race one day when I get mine. I do not understand why Dazon is using canvas as a body. That should be good for the sport. I went to the races last week and all those modified Rhino and RZR are just too slow for me. You can not race a stock Rhino or RZR and win. These SideXSide were very modified. Some of these guys spent in excess of $20,000.00 and they have a top speed of maybe 65-70 mph for the RZR. I love CVTs but my four speed simply gets there much quicker. I prefer the torque I get compared to the SidexSides I have driven. To be fair, I have a car engine in my sandrail and these SideXSide have ATV engines. I think all these SidexSides have their place but I was not impressed with any of them considering how much you have to spend if you want to race one. The only thing I am doing to my new 1100cc is adding FOX coilovers and Crow Harness and I am out the door for $9,500.00 and ready to race. If you are rock crawling then I think the SideXSide have it over the mini-sandrail but they are just too slow for my taste. Some of these modified SidexSides were almost flipping over on the turns. I have never had that issue with my 1100cc.
The SR-2 1100cc is a superior machine and much faster for less money than the Dazon 1100cc.
Calbuggy This is one amazing sandrail that will do 75mph on hard pack and around 50mph in sandrail. Turbos are available that will bring horsepower up to 100hp at wheel. The SR-2 Sand Sport is at least 200lbs lighter then Joyner`s 1100cc and around half the price at $6,600.00. This is also around half the price of a Rhino and it is has better suspension than a modified long travel Rhino or RZR. This sandrail will outrun a Rhino or RZR in 2nd gear!

  • 9800 dollars? for that price i can have one custom built.

  • Only 70 hp? huh...kinda dissapointing. a 600cc pushes past 100hp and 1000cc even more. What's wrong with this picture?
