Big Mack's Off The Blocks [Johi2410]

First of all: Please check out the original version by Bill Kirchen. I do this as kind of a howdy to this great guitarist, it's not about me, I just dig the song so much that I had to do it myself ;-) Now here's a thanks for all the positive feedback on "Spaceship To Mars". This is another tune you might not have heard yet. Written by Kevin ("Blackie") Farrell, this is a song that Bill Kirchen had on his Live Album. Since I first heard this, it's one of my most favorite songs. Just such a great story and a classic, yet different trucking song. Also, Bill Kirchen is one of my greatest guitar heroes, a living legend and such a great guy as it seems. The band he tours with right now (Jack O'Dell and Mac Cridlin) also is among the best there are in roots music. They're just as tight as a band can possibly be. Enjoy listening to it and thanks Bill Kirchen & Too Much Fun for your truly amazing musicianship.

I like the bass, and your sound mix is good quality!

No instrument was 'overplayed,' and that's a plus, as it's a common mistake.

They call Clapton 'Slow Hand,' because he can exact every drop of emotion from every note. 'Shredding' doesn't impress me much.
