  • While Tarsiers are incredibly cute in a creepy sort of way, I do have to say that I find it very distasteful that they be displayed like this, during the daytime, in the noisy clamor of tourists. They are nocturnal animals, and should not be kept awake this way during daytime, just for the convenience of tourists.

  • Too much noise for these sensitive ears.

  • @behevolent45 They are primates :) They're a haplorine, but also a prosimian

  • @gellai napaka tanga naman ng tanong mo.

  • the tarsier looks stressed out, i pity this little creature... not all tourists are aware that tarsiers should have been resting or sleeping at daytime

  • @MightyTiny Actually, i do believe its not uncommon to see these creatures out during day time in the Philippines, although they are obviously nocturnal creatures.

  • Although this is like the cutest animal ever and I wanna cuddle it, I'm pretty sure it's not very happy to be displayed like this.

God I love these little things <3

  • I was there in Bohol 2 months ago and I visited the Tarsiers in the Sanctuary/ Reserve Research center. you can see them in the wild there if you are lucky. There are also Unofficial places to see them and even hold them, it is very cruel, please only visit the sanctuary near Tagbilaran city..

  • actually, a tarsier is not a monkey nor a primate, it's in between.

and i agree with POLDUMDUMAYA, tarsiers should not be taken out of their natural habitats. these little guys are nocturnal which mean they must sleep during the day and that can be hard sometimes when the tourists' come to make noises and awaken the little creatures up.

these are my favorite animals in the world and i hope they can stay around for a long time to come.

  • sorry guys but the tarsiers in bohol are not allowed to be stressed anymore meaning no more close encounter, only picture from afar....bad for tourists, good for the tarsier

  • i miss dem!!! dey're so cute!!! i wanna go bck to philippines & see dem....

  • Yes, they are cute, but please, they do not want to be taken out of their natural places.

Please do not buy these little guys.

    They look adorable, I know...

How come they are so calm around people... ?
