After being in the black walnut bath, the yarn is quite dark brown

  • I can't seem to find black walnut husks here. I'll have to keep on searching, got to be able to find it somewhere here.

    Wish me luck.

    My adventure continues.

  • @cackietree Do they grow there?

  • It would seem not. Just regular walnuts, is there a difference between the husks . I have searched online, have found lotions and potions tablets and capsules , but not ground , whole or crushed. Can you buy the husks in Canada. I have a cousin in Windsor coming to Australia in October, I don't know if there would be a problem going through customs, but I'm sure she would give it a go for me.

  • Thanks I am new to dying and one thing I have lots (and lots) of are black walnuts.
