All Around Pony ~ June-bug (Read Desciption)

All of the videos are new obviously because there is snow in every single one of them. Lol. She is so bouncy in the snow...

Me and June-bug have come a long way. When I first got her, she spooked at everything, couldn't run barrels, was scared of jumping, tested me a lot, tried to kill me on trails, didn't know how to neckrein, back, rate, canter on the correct lead, had to be ridden w/ a bit, couldn't cross a bridge/obsticl, probably never ridden english, or even leave the barn/pasture,afraid of water, refused to move a muscle somedays, and of coarse she was super fat because she was in a stall all day but was feed a lot. I used to have to ride her in a curb bit, and then I went to a snaffle but she didn't like either of the bits so we moved to a natural horsemanship hackamore and she's fine. The only time I need a curb is on the trails when we are cantering or galloping because she is very high-spirited for a POA and wants to run with the sprinting QHs. We generally get 3rd out of 5. And we are the only pony/teenager team, the rest are adults on QHs or TBs. Lol.

But, anyways... I actually used to be afraid of June-bug. Especially the day I tried to take her on her first trail ride. :O Dear...

Now we do barrels, pole bending, speed barrels, trails, bareback, bareback w/ no bridle/halter (just a rope), pony my pony, jump, SWIM (she loves swimming), cantering, she can back, rate, and stop better, go english & western, can go w/ a bit or bitless (I even rode her in a halter for a few months), and we are going to start Parelli because she was injuried and needs a small break off from riding and then needs to worked back up. Soo.. why not start Parelli now? Lol. Umm.. and we've worked on the keyhole... and I'd like to teach her to herd/pen cattle but we have no cattle. :(

I don't know if I mentioned it or not, but I have only owned her for 1 year! :) And we have come that far.
