@6ft7inHIBread Yes indeed. Just listen to his quick witted speaking and compare it to his speech from even 1973 and even when he fought Spinks. It's awful
-
@naturalthing1 More like clear symptoms of Alzheimer's. He started showing them as early as the mid to late 70s.
-
@Lava1964 the Bahamas less standards the USA.
-
his trainer, agent, and people close to him should have said enough is enough.
-
Just listen to Clay's slurred speech. It's obvious he's punch drunk. He should not have been allowed to fight.
-
The boxing authorites should be ashamed they allowed this fight to take place after the Holmes disgrace.Ali was a shot fight. So sad.
-
Ali should have quit after the Frazier fight in Manila in 1975. He had nothing left to prove. By 1978 you could tell his speech was slowing down. (Compare his interviews to those he gave in the 1960s and early 1970s.) Whoever licensed this fight versus Berbick after seeing how poorly Ali fared against Holmes should be ashamed.

@TELEVISIONARCHIVES No that's not the reason. He wanted to end his carrier with a nice fight because the fight against Holmes wasn't good and he didn't want to stop his carrier so.
-
@TELEVISIONARCHIVES H didn't need the money. He had millions in the bank, and a mansion. It was his ego. Still GOAT.
-
@OrthodoxSteel quit? he was a sick man in his last 2 fights, shouldnt even of been fighting
Whoever licensed this sham(and the Holmes sham before it) should have been arrested.
