I would agree. I was simply joking about that statement in relation to his namesake.

@AstroAgonistes I think compared to other notable figure painters, I would not consider Freud among the most "analytical". Euan Uglow, for example, takes analysis of the human figure to a pretty scary extreme, check him out.
