What size (gauge) crochet hook do you use? I want to try this but I only have a 5.0mm hook. Can I assume that would work?

PEEPS, you want to try and make the knots kind of tight, so they're not very lumpy. the whole thing is going to have a texture to it, so don't worry too much about it, though.
