Locanda Vini e Olii is a restaurant in Brooklyn that sits on a quiet corner in a restored turn-of-the-century drug store. Run by a husband-and-wife, they serve authentic, regional cuisine that is not flashy but is always brilliant. The belong to the "Slow Food" movement, and only serve organic products. They also go to only trusted vendors for their supplies, and barely mark-up the wine on their list because they want their customers to be able to drink as well as possible. For the house wines, they use a stick to measure how much you've had.
