"This is a 911 emergency. I got robbed for eight dollars!"

Starting at 4:02 a.m. on June 26, 2009, two men called 911 repeatedly, demanding that the police enforce their order at a McDonald's drive-thru at 12440 SE 82nd Avenue, Clackamas, Oregon. One of the men, Jeremy Lloyd Martin, was arrested for improper use of 911. The other man fled the scene before the police arrived.

Here are all four of the men's calls in their entirety. Jeremy Martin made Calls #1, 2, and 4. His friend made Call #3. Mr. Martin's calls overlapped with his friend's call, so that they tied up two 911 operators simultaneously.

In Call #1 (0:01), Mr. Martin states that McDonald's didn't fulfill his whole order, and asked him to drive off to the side and park while the employees prepared the rest of the order. Presumably, the men became impatient about the wait, and that's when they decided to call 911. Mr. Martin says he paid $10, and they only gave him "one burger and a fry." After advising Mr. Martin about the proper use of 911, the 911 operator disconnects the call.

In Call #2 (1:05), Mr. Martin immediately calls back and repeats his story. He claims that this is an emergency, and if the cops don't come and arrest him, he "will sue fucking your office right now."

In Call #3 (3:05), Mr. Martin's friend tries a new tactic: he claims that a McDonald's employee is pointing a gun at his head, and asks for an officer.

In Call #4 (5:20), Mr. Martin claims that this is a "life on death emergency" because "these fuckers are fucking screwing me out of my money."

There was also a separate call from another customer at the drive-thru who was concerned about the McDonald's employees' safety. That call came in first, which explains why the 911 operator already seems to be familiar with the situation during Mr. Martin's first call and dismisses him so quickly. And there was a call from a McDonald's employee. Those two calls are not included here.

  • @Chrliesangelsman Its not a matter of opinion however, its is a matter of how many cops are bad or good. We cannot determane how many are bad or good, but it doesnt matter. Law enforcement is there to protect people, and as far as I know, that is the main goal for most police. You must of had some horrible luck to think these things, sorry bout that :/

  • @Xmvtjets96X: Yeah..... ok..... That is your opinion, and you are entitled to it. My opinion is different, and I disagree. That being said, I am not going to get into a dispute via the posting board. However, it is obvious you have never had any encounters with them where they already had it in their mind that you were wrong (even when you were right and it was later PROVEN that you were.) Had you, you would feel completely different. Most are douche bags. That's MY opinion. sorry.

  • @Chrliesangelsman Dude, only some cops are like that, I promise you that the majority of cops are looking to do justice....

  • @Xmvtjets96X: Perhaps the words "always against the cops" was not the message that I meant to convey. A better way of putting it would be, that I don't trust them as far as I could throw them. Most cops will lie or intimidate a civilian because as a rule, they ALWAYS feel that they are right, and have an inflated ego because they are in a position of power. They know they hold the reins, and no problem "twisting" those reins (or the truth for that matter) to suit their own impression.

  • @Chrliesangelsman Why would you be against cops?

  • this is some funny shit

  • i checked that site with the "concerned customer "call...she is just a goodie-2 soe interfering racist bitch who cant mind her fucking business

  • @nathanjamesbaker thanks..I'll check it out

  • so whatever happened with this?
