  • this handing down of weapons reminds me of the soldiers of the red army who were a crew of the Potemkin....once they gave their arms they were summarily executed...

  • the individuals that refused to to fight the militias are being kicked out from the police/army, and some are being taken to military courts. if they are guilty of betrayel the might be sentenced to death or life imprisonement. basra is very safe now and, the army is surrounding the nieghborhoods and going from house to house to look for weapons and wanted people. the court has already sentenced 24 people of the arrested fighters to death for murder and other crimes.

  • Wow, you must be one of the lucky ones who can find time to chat on youtube while bullets are flying over ur head.

    Thats amazing!

  • im from basra and I know better than you. the mahdi army abandoned there weapons on the streets and ran away. some threw their weapons on the streets and some in the river. the next station for the army is "shu3la" and sadr city. than they go off to mosul.

  • lol, iraqi puppets did not take control of basra or disarm any militias. And there are no traitors , their all iraqis , uncertain of the future. Did iraqis infiltrate the iraqi army ? No they just realised who the good guys are.

  • the iraqi army also took control of basra, as for those who gave their weapons. that is both a bad and good thing. now the government knows the traiters who were infiltrated in the army.

  • Ah haha! "iraqi army" hand weapons and loyalty to AlSadr, "we all knew this mumbojumbo would never fly." If you lie cheat n steal it comes around and bites ur ass. Iran has offically won the Iraq war without liftin a finger. LOL @ the american wet dream! You've sealed ur nations faith, enjoy!

  • you are living in dreamland mister. Our so called succesful economy is polluting the earth

and destroying a lot in its path.

  • Once I can find IRAG on a map, Ill catch the next flight.

The Nazi's problem was not their nationalism, it was the method of achieving nationalistic success. We are an economically successful country and you seem dumbfounded by the fact that many politicians, and those who support the war, have a deeply vested interest in the lives of those there.

Get your Berkley head out of your ass.

  • To hold Pride in country, Honor, Patriotism,as virtues without examining the consequences of those values is the same thing the Nazi's did. We Americans are a greedy bunch.

Bush's want to own and run the whole bannana and pillage the earth's resources and its

people until nothing is left but us. Idiot. look at our economy - housing, medical care. Bush doesn't have the brains to deal with that stuff so he plays soldiers like toys. You go to Irag and fight for these things . Less talk more walk
