@porcupineinteruptus I graduated from HS in 1974 too. Waterloo was Abba's first hit in the USA. I thought they'd be a 'one-hit wonder', guess I was wrong. Abba was huge in Europe, but they always had a big following in America.

I was 17-18 in 1974,graduated from High School,and this song and the clothes were so upbeat and typical of the good times that existed in the world then....we that were young then took it all for granted,thought it would never end.I didnt buy Abba records then,being more beatles/Stones,but the TOP 40 music was so Damn good.I havent listened to TOP 40 for 20 years,and a music lover,that is very sad to me.
