Where to stand on the shield. This is for the Xbox version, the PC version stands somewhere different.

  • I wonder if it works on Anniversary Edition?

  • @BPlayReview I've heard it does but I've never tried it.

  • @scurty2 Lol, first, I just realized I was typing the "n" instead of space on my iPad when I wrote that response and that "thisnvideonis" is not an actual word!

Second, I WAS on the PoA when I was trying this. I tried for a good hour and maybe got above the level 4 times the entire time I tried. Most of the time I got stuck IN a door and didn't get on top of it. It just still seems random to me. Does it have to PERFECT? Maybe I'm just destined to not be a trickster "/

  • @AnotherEpigone I didn't even realize you typed the ns, that's odd that I missed that. Basically, if you get bumped into the door and can't get out, you are very close. I think the problem might be that you are trying to position yourself on that shield the same way you try to on the Keyes shield. They have different placements. Check out that video I was referring to and if you still have trouble I'll make a video depicting where to stand on it.

  • Wow I'm doing exactly what thisnvideonis doing but it's not working. I'm on the PoA one. Are they all different?

  • @AnotherEpigone Yeah, they are different. Search my videos for Exploring the PoA in SP.. Again and go to 0:50 in the video to see where I line up. I believe it's a tad more to the left than in this video. I will say that the PoA shield bump is a lot easier than this one.

  • I DID IT!!! jk I fell to my death. Wtf!

  • I love this trick. While I was getting this to work, I managed to get bumped to the floor on top of me. It was crazy! Nothing up there, though.

  • in pc, you bump into the room above. sometimes, you bump into the rafters of that room. from there, you can jump onto the rafters of the hall way. rly rly hard though, and useless for speedrunning.

the positioning: very slightly more backwards than the one in the video.

i may make a video some day...

  • As far as I know, no. The only difference I know of is between Xbox and PC, with the PC version bumping you much higher in the ceiling so that you actually fall down onto the rafters.
