I use a Saitek P990 (pad) which works great! I prefer the pad over my regular Saitek X52 joystick in this game :).

@TheReaIRedBaron If you don't have a joystick it's nearly impossible to fly in RoF. I suggest you get yourself a twister-stick (or better yet a stick AND rudder pedals) with at least 1 slider. A Saitek Cyborg or even a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro will do for a start. This is not a casual game but a full blown simulator and flying it with your keyboard will get you nowhere.

i would love to play that game, i downloaded the demo but i cant get it to work!!
how do you actually fly/control the plane?
w = throttle up
s = throttle down
a = left rudder
d = right rudder
forward arrow key = elevator down
backward arrow key = elevator up
left arrow key = roll left
right arrow key = roll right
