@serenityluvsgod to fight with a fellow christian :) After all, God says we should love each other! Anyways thanks for posting you've given me something to think about!

@serenityluvsgod Anyways, I'm sorry for responding so strongly, it's just that I really believe this. I'm open to new thoughts, though. Although I strongly disagree with much of your philosophies, I'm going to look over them and really think about them. In return, could you please do the same with mine? I think God would be happy that his children tried to understand each other and not just got into arguments :) Which is partially my fault. I'm not going to post anymore, cause I don't want

And as far as Witchcraft being wrong, I agree with you 100%! However, the people that take part in that sin simply need love, and haven't seen it yet. It's our job to help them see it! God loves them and wants them to love him back. Of course, you already know this, I just wanted to say it :) But God loves the world so much, he sent his only son to face unimaginable suffering for us, so we could be saved. God doesn't want us to experience his punishment, he wants us to experience his love!

believe they're right (I mean, they are God's word) I'm just saying that following the bible strictly isn't the right way to go, seeing that it's been adapted by man. Which is a little off topic. Anyways, I CAN see where your coming from. I think you should read one of the books, though. The witchcraft God talks about is the worshipping of Satan. Harry Potter doesn't do that. They wave around wands and make magic, but there's no Satan worshipping envolved. It sounds bad, but it's not.

to have to work on that. I am thirteen, and I accept that I don't know as much as my elders and haven't read the bible cover to cover. But I love Jesus. I'm not one of those, "I go to church so now I can go to Heaven" types. I get your point, but I don't think you have to do exactly what the bible says to go to Heaven and love God. I mean, there's parts of the bible that instructs us to stone people that do wrong. God obviously doesn't want that. I'm not saying those passages are wrong, I

oops guess the first part didnt' get posted. But then I read the rest of your comment. WHAT????!!!! I origonally answered this in a nice, christain-like way. I will do so after this. Are you accusing me of being a half christian??? Cause if you are, you are WRONG. I love and follow God 100%. Sometimes I have trouble annoucing how incredibly wonderful he is, but hey, that's peer pressure. I hate it, but I'm not secure enough to prech his name. Since I want to be an evangelist, I'm going

it's the sin that's evil. These people just haven't seen the love of God yet. It's up to us to help them see it! Sorry, I won't repent though, since God knows I haven't done anything wrong.

@serenityluvsgod The thing about Harry Potter is it's not really witchcraft. What God means is that one should not practice witchcraft (worshipping Satan) and except something to happen. There is nothing harmful about reading about harmless things. J.K. Rowling never expected anyone to take it seriously, it was just a way for her to get her creative genius out :) But seriously, I agree with you (almost) 100%! Witchcraft is WRONG! However, comitters of such things aren't evil,
i'm REALLY starting to get tired of those "ya know what? who cares if they're a christian band?!" getting all the high ratings. no one cares if they're a christian band or not. they just like the music. so there.

and for the record i am sorry for the negative experience you've had with those who see christianity as a religion and not a lifestyle... there is a very big difference.
