Scooby Doo - Amstrad CPC

With the subtitle "In The Castle Mystery". Back in the day i borrow this from a friend and it provided a good weeks worth of fun. Only 4 colours but pretty good drawn graphics. Audio reminds me of the Flying Shark game for some reason. Quite easy game especially if you play it slow and safe. Still the random low and high flying ball-thingy will make sure that slow and safe is no longer easy at lvl 3 and up. Game never ends but once you have rescued your 4 friends on the first 4 lvls, the game just goes back to lvl 1 at a bit harder difficulty (because of the added high and low stuff). Also from lvl 5 and on you rescue "Mad scientists". Plays pretty smoothly with a good collision detection. Going down stairs is usually the hardest part as you dont know what you are walking into. While going up is much easier as you have a clear view. The mazes are pretty good while being pretty small. Do need to be carefull when jumping the holes in the maze as its easy to fall in, and the layout of the mazes usually means that youll fall down multiple holes and have to replay half the map because of one little mistake. All in all a pretty ok game, but perhaps not worth the full price it was being sold at.

heh i had this game back in the cpc times. it was kinda frustrating, never got further than 2 level or something. I really like the sound of scooby's punch - sounds like gabba tune :)

Hmmm. The title screen is different to the C64 one (that has Bruce the shark in the moat attacking Scooby) but why on Earth is Scooby BLUE in level 1?

Thank you so verry mutch! It was nearly 25 years ago sense i played that game and my disc got broken so i was never abel to finish the game. I was 8 years old i remeber that i thought the monsters in the game where awsome and scary. Hahaha Thanks for the uppload!
