  • hmmmmm I learned something today. Are these stock on most cars? It doesn't 'look' familiar : ))

  • @notellyearight1 about 98% of cars do not have them stock. Most manufacturers of cars don't plan on having their customers concerned with the handeling if they're buying a stock car.

  • would it be good for a rear of a car??

  • @ils360 It will help a little bit with the chassis flex but not much and that's pretty much all it would do. Front is pretty much the way to go.

  • defiently a great investment my old 240 had a front one and than it was lowered and it handled like it was on rails i loved it! than my integra had a front and rear and handled pretty good to..plus they look good lol

  • @240sxfirebird They can be expensive but it's one of the best bolt on mods. In my case with the MR2 already being really tight it only made it feel more like a supercar to drive. For example when I drove it hope I did a sharp 90 degree turn doing 70. Never lost traction, almost felt like the car was wanting more loL!

  • Thats a STRUT BAR... not a sway bar....

The sway bar is on the bottom, connecting the left and right shocks from the bottom.

if the suspension move together (up and down) then the sway bar swings, having no effect on the stiffness of the springs. but when one spring compresses more then the other, it causes the sway bar to twist, which, depending on the strength of the bar, reduces body roll by forcing the shocks from having the outside compress too much more then the inside.

  • i think you are confusing sway bars with strut bars

  • Does that improve ride quality?

  • I am with Transane :)

  • These are a great benefit, get a cheapy off Ebay they are just as good as long as you tighten the bolts down hard

  • Sway bars are awesome !!!!

But anyone who's used them for a while knows they eat up tires quick !!!!!

  • Well explained :D

  • @iexploderacoons Okay Thanks! I DID wonder :)
