  • wow.... this is national news.... this broadcast is stupid.

  • Yes, words mean things, thoughts do not.

    She's just now getting it?

I've known it for years and bet you have too. Why is it that when she said it, it meant more?

    It doesn't.

Its not a bad thing, I find it quite funny.

D*n your spell checker! I thought we would talk about the weather-was nice here as well...

    You too?

D**n my luck! That could only mean two things, neither of which would I be included!

;) Hope you enjoyed a glorious day!

btw..You only answered 1 of 4 of my questions?

  • You use the word liberal as if it were a BAD thing! But of course words don't matter, so I guess you really didn't mean anything by it.

D**mn that stupid spell-checker! I thought I spelled "wether" right the first time!

We had lots of rain yesterday, but today looks like it's going to be a beautiful day.

    I like liberal women, too!

  • 1)OK, Rush has no original thought? Who's he repeating then?

    Right, you can't answer.

2)Hate Speach? How do you determin someone's thoughts?

    Mind Read much?

3)If you truly believe 'words mean things' then Katie, Hillary, and several others must frighten you.

4)Weather? You're asking me about the weather?

I now see what kinda viewer you get for $2.51.

I like lib women! Ya'll are sooooo, ah, well, liberal!

  • Excuse me, but what does ratings have to do with weather or not this was a good Notebook entry?

  • This sez enough. NYpost-

"When the ratings for "The CBS Evening News" dipped to 5.9 million for the week ended May 25 - an all-time low, and a smaller audience than former anchors Dan Rather and Bob Schieffer ever saw - it meant CBS was paying $2.51 per viewer."

  • It was too harsh. Please forgive me. My bad...

  • I totally disagree. This was an excellent Notebook, as most of her notebooks are. I think that telling Katie to STFU is a bit harsh.

But it is only to be expected, coming from someone who brings up Rush as an example as original thought.

  • Just saying that she has no "original thoughts" and thats expected when you report the news. Its when she tries to put an 'original thought' together that she fails. Look at her ratings. Thats the bottom line, anyway.

    No?

  • If you honestly think that Rush Limbaugh came up with the phrase "words matter" you're living in a dream world!

Thank you, Katie for reminding us all that words do indeed matter!
