Dhoruba was convicted of shooting 2 cops in New York City. He served 19 yrs in prison after which, through the Freedom of Information act, he got access to FBI documents (cointelpro program..where Government agencies spy on its citizens) that exonerated him...Basically spent almost 20 yrs in jail on some lies.. One of his themes is he's been 1 of thousands of political prisoners in this country based on his affiliation with the Black Panther Movement.
