Mark Donne introduces a report into the case of a photographer who was recently arrested under anti-terror laws - for taking a picture of a fish-and-chip shop.
This week I was filming in Basildon town centre, a public place.. 2 security guards physically stopped me and detained me. You can watch this by visiting my channel.
Of course, he wasn't stopped or arrested for just taking a picture (as many in the background of this video are doing without any problems from police). Instead, he was loitering in the area ("hanging around here for a little while"), followed by photographing several buildings and access streets to those buildings. That caused officers to question him. But what got him arrested was photographing the officers, which violates a section of the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008 he carefully doesn't show.

Thanks for the upload! I'm from Chatham and actually went to this protest with my grandfather (Brian Damerell in the video!).
