  • In the Philippines you don't need to do it voluntarily. The government (with its corrupt ways) imposes it on you: Blackouts, which is endemic in Philippine society. You don't need to do it voluntarity. Even families I know in the Philippines don't switch on their lights and fridges to save money or sometimes because they don't have money to pay electric bills. But then doing it for the world environment and world community as a gesture of solidarity is fine. A fine geture of solidarity indeed.

  • I dont about you, but from where we are in the Philippines, we rarely have any blackouts. I dont understand people like you who can turn something positive into something divisive. Electricity has been a major problem during the Aquino Administration and this was remedied during the succeeding administrations, electricity is still much needed in the far-flung areas (although some have turned to solar and wind like in Ilocos). And since a growing economy means growing needs for power (to be cont)

  • (cont.) ...growing needs for power , power shortages is to be expected especially in Mindanao and parts of the Visayas. I think one should laud these efforts because for a fleeting moment, every Filipino stood united. I think this is not a time to say such things. I will not simply allow it in these pages. I hope you joined Earth Hour too.

  • We save 500 megawatts of electricty in that hour. And we know that we participate most of Earth Hour (600 towns and cities). Mas better kami magtipid sa Earth Hour.

  • Yeah nice gesture of solidatiry, but moronic comment from you. Always feels compelled to say their senseless opinions.
