How is lip enhancement done ?
With time, lips become thinner and lose their definition. Fine lines can develop at the edges, causing 'lipstick-bleed'. Specialised fillers injected into the lips can correct these problems giving a fuller, more defined lip line. The procedure takes about 30 minutes and will require a local anaesthetic to ensure minimal discomfort.
How long does lip enhancement last ?
This varies from one person to another but is expected to last up to 9 months. Without top up treatment, the filler will gradually break down and the lips will return to their previous appearance.
What are the risks / side effects ?
In the UK lip enhancement treatments have grown tremendously as the treatment is effective and the risks are low. Following the procedure you may experience some redness, swelling and bruising which is normal and will subside.
