OK, I heard this song years ago, back when X-Men 3 was still in the theaters. A friend had the Animusic DVD and showed us all at a party. I fell in love with this song, naturally, and it was recently recommended by someone here on youtube that I play this. I know it's not a videogame, but it's about as close as you can get. I feel this piece is simple, yet very well done, and in this video I try to capture not only the exact sound of the harp, but the motions as well by using only my index fingers to play every string, almost exactly as it's done in the video. I hope you all enjoy this version, and I hope you can hear the remaining instruments in your head as you listen. I know I do.

*Note* Sorry, but I do not have the sheet music for this. I did it all by ear, just like my other videos.

Wow, dude. This is awesome. The only thing that could make it better would be by using a little better fingering. haha, maybe it would make it flow better? But I'm not here to hate! This is super, cool. I'm going to teach it to myself now. ^^

@sixexclamations It probably would be easier with better fingering, but I used fingering that mimics the exact way the video shows it being played with two picks. I thought it would be worth it, and it was fun to do.

@WinonaFlammery That's cool! My harp has been through a lot. I received it as a gift from a harp teacher who didn't want it because it was broken. I had to fix it myself, which meant making an entirely new neck for it (which is the part that holds all the strings and levers on it at the top). My harp is kind of special to me that way, even though it doesn't have the nicest sound. It's held together for 3 years now, so I must've done something right. =) You should put up a video of your harp!

Umm...ok...its great and amazing!...but...in ALL his vids he says he does everything by ear and has no sheet music...i think thats jus his way of saying ''i dont wanna giv it to u''...cuz didnt he say he took lessons for like a year?>.>....i take harp lessons and u cant do anything without knowing sheet music!thats the very first thing they teach u!...thats like being a master of the piano without ever reading sheet music >.>....(great song tho!! 5 stars!)

@AwesomeGuyOfPwnage Thanks for the comments, though I don't consider myself a master of the harp by any means. I've only been playing for a couple of years.I took harp lessons for my first year, but I took traditional Irish harp lessons, not classical harp. Traditional Irish music is passed down by other Irish musicians, and always by ear, rarely by sheet music. I'm part of the New England Irish Harp Orchestra. google it or check out my other videos.
