No dude. Your are no FPV noob. That kind of proximity flying while wearing goggles at about a mile away is NOT a noob thing.
Great job!! Truly enjoyed it. Plus it was nice to see what I never see in Florida....snow and mountains.

I've been thinking of visiting Iceland to fly some FPV with my Tricopter. What's the best time of year to visit? Would you like to meet and fly? :D

I think it would be best to visit in the summer in May, June or July.
I live in Vestmannaeyjar though which is an island by the south coast of Iceland.
I am kind of still an FPV noob but I would love to fly with you :)
