Firefighter Fitness - Circuit Workout #3

Here's mhanson51 and a training partner performing a series of circuit style exercises with their SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) masks on. This really kicks up the cardio, intensity and realism in this firefighter workout.

1st Exercise: Alternate Band Crawls With Partner (30 sec.)
2nd Exercise: Alternate 75lb. Sandbag Pickup Slams (20 sec.)
3rd Exercise: 12KB Kettlebell Jump Squats (20 sec.)
4th Exercise: Tire Pushing Fight With Partner (20 sec.)

  • @avidmark why do u think u fucking butt munch

  • pizdets haha

  • what would be a good workout for things like pulling hose and other activities of that sort?

  • Good workout but they should be squatting when picking up the sandbags. You'll get your ass chewed If a PT officer sees you picking up a heavy object with straight legs, and it's also a liability for the rest of us.

  • nicw work boyZZ but for ya sand bag lifts... use your legs more!!

  • A back not being completely straight isn't the end of the world. Many 800+ deadlifters would appear to have rounded backs, and strongman competitors always round their backs when lifting Atlas stones. The danger occurs when the rounding of the back is accompanied by a loss of intra-thoracic pressure, or if the glutes and hamstrings aren't activated. Another thing to consider is that the sandbag is 75lbs, likely nowhere near a maximal load for either of these gentlemen.

  • Why train with the masks?

  • train harder.

  • 0:50 and on they realy need to keep their back straight or winde up with their carrers going down the toilet.
