The long awaited video on the knife you have seen me use in nearly all of my videos.

  • Is this still your choice over the BHK bushcrafter

  • @enjoiorange It has become a close second, but not because of function or design, mostly because the guys at BHK are friends of mine so it adds a bit more value to me personally. I use each still in separate kits though, I love them both.

  • Most bushcraft knives I've seen on youtube have a Scandinavian grind. Are there disadvantages in using a knife with a convex grind for bushcraft? Thanks.

  • @lesamourai777 People go for Scandi for a couple of Reasons - The major one is that the Scandi Grind is super easy to sharpen, even for beginners, and the second is that a Scandi Grind can make longer and thinner feather sticks for fire starting. The Convex is harder to sharpen, but in my experience does all the same tasks just as well, its just harder to sharpen.

  • @ClintonLee0711 You obviously know nothing about a quality made Blade, so until you own a Fallkniven, use it and make videos of it, your opinion means next to nothing. There is a lot of wear on the blade from use, but the poor lighting on the video makes the reflection kind of blur everything. I took a look at your page and can see for myself who is really all talk. So get some real experience, and then maybe we will take your opinion for more than what it is, ignorance.

  • @ClintonLee0711 I own numerous blades that came polished from the factory, and IF you take care of them, and know how to treat them, they will maintain that shine for a lifetime...Just because you are an untrained noob when it comes to all things sharp and trash your blades and put them away dirty doesnt mean the rest of the wold does, now get out your folks basement, and enjoy the real world for a bit..ya might learn something.

  • Luv this knife

  • Really nice handles! Can you still order the F1 with that handle?

  • The F1 has held up for me for over 5 years now. I didnt try to keep the convex blade sharp - I took a few hours out of my live and ground a 2mm 23dgree angle on the edge with the fallkniven dc4 sharpening stone.

It's an awesome knife, it has survived being dropped off a cliff, battening, hammering into wood and my relitavely careless ownership. i expect to leave it to someone in my will in 20 or so years.

    hope that helps

  • I have the f1; I have used it and now not razor shpar anymore; I cant' seems to get it back to new sharpness, anyone with suggestions?

  • Hi great review, plese drop me a line with the name for the gripp maker also the sheath. Thanks

  • SWEDISH QUALITY FUCKIN' RULE!!! ;)

  • how about the s1? is it simply a f1 but longer? would u recommend the s1 or the a1?

  • @r4nger5tube@canteencorner How do you guys like you knifes to this day? How is the knife holding up? also do you baton often with it?

  • Hm, sweet blade. Thanks for the review. May have to add this one to the fold. I'm turning into somewhat of a knife collector just from looking for the perfect survival knife, lol.
